Work Day!

Well, I didn't exactly leave the villa today!  I can official say that at this very moment I am truly on VACATION!!  Yahoooo!  I finally finished all the tutorials for my three/four Graphic 45 May projects!  I am so excited for you all to see them.  So cool! I hope you like them as much as I do....As soon as G45 gives me a heads up when they will be on their blog, I will let you know.  Sometime in May I'm assuming.

What a HUGE relief that is to get them done and have them sent!!!  I had a whole month to finish them and what did I do????...I finished the projects and waited to the last minute to write the tutorials. Ahhahaha!  I always want to do the fun stuff first!  Of Course!  Once again, so excited and can't wait for you guys to see them!

OK, it's now 5:30 Island time!  I'm going to reward myself and go SHOPPING!  Home Goods!  Yahooo!! One of my absolute favorite stores!!  You talk about getting some inspiration!  Baby, this store is loaded with it!  Hahaha!  Of course this inspiration needs to come back to Texas right?  You should see me when I leave here!  Can I say Beverly Hillbillies?  Like things strapped to the top and sides of my car Beverly Hillbillies!  uhhh huh!  Not pretty!  LOL!

Well, I'm off!  So see y'all in a bit! Yahooo!  I'm leaving the house!

Everytime I come to HHI I'm still amazed at the beauty. Just driving into the gate you get this sense of a slower and more relaxed life.

I thank my lucky stars to have two of the most gracious friends that allow me to come and stay in their awesome home smack dab in Harbour Town! Thanks M and G. Love y'all!

Please join me this week as I take you around HHI, Savannah, Beaufort, Bluffton and Charleston. It's going to be fun!

Off to take a nap. See I'm finally relaxing. Haha!

Ok this is where I always think I'm almost there, yet it is always the longest 2 hour drive up to Hilton Head. There is a time change also to eastern time. Of course I immediately get hungry at 3 which is really 2. So does that mean my body clock is off? Am I blabbering meaninglessly? I think I am! Hahaha. Car craziness fever!  

Stopped right now at Wendy's for a bite and a leg stretch. Oh how good it feels to stand up!

On the home stretch now YAHOOO!

We are about an hour away from Tallahassee, Fl. This truly is one of My Favorite Things to say. Go on say it. It's catchy. It's pronounced, towel-a-has-eee! Everytime I see that word I think of another one of My Favorite Things, the 1957 movie, Funny Face with the stunningly gorgeous Audrey Hepburn, Fred Astaire and the hysterical and multi-talented Kay Thompson. There is a scene where Kay and Fred are folk singers from Tallahassee! If you get a chance watch it. A truly great movie!

On The Road Again...

Trying to get an early start this morning. Onward bound through the great state of Florida.

If you have never been this way, its a beautiful drive. Now there aren't any mountains with glorious vistas, but lush green landscapes dense with soaring pine trees. The highway is divided by a wide strip of these trees. So you have this sense you are in enveloped by forest with your own two lane highway. It really is pretty and one of my favorite things to drive through. Being from central Texas, we don't get to see these gorgeous growths of tall trees. We see mainly vast open plains with our beautiful oaks. Just a completely different landscape.

Just past the Florida line at 7:45 a.m. Now, here is to the all day drive through Florida!

Below see pictures of Mobile. When you see the water pictures, this is Pensacola, Florida. This is what Kathy Orta, Queen of Paper Phenomenon gets to see every day! Lucky lady! Hopefully on my way back I can meet her.

Touch Down...Mobile, Alabama

Made it safe, sound and starving! Yahooo! You know Mobile is the coolest city! It's so pretty to be right on the water. I also could just be happy to not be moving and closer to my destination! You think?

I'm having dinner at one of my favorite restaurants on Mobile Bay. The Oyster House. If you ever make it down this way, make it a must.

Tomorrow's drive is primarily the very very wide northern portions of Florida! Until then....

I'm in Iowa?

Had to stop as is par for the course when you are drinking Monster Energy Drinks! What's in this stuff? Don't tell me because I'm addicted!

OK, see I had already forgotten my point! So we stopped bought some crackers and another Low Carb Monster, and I asked the lady where exactly we were. She said Iowa, Louisiana! Who knew. I certainly didn't.

So here is Iowa...
