Made It To Paradise!

Me near the sea is what God meant to be! See, I get like this when I start to relax. So watch out folks! LOL!

Made it here safe and sound! By the time we hit the island, the fog started to roll in from nowhere! I just wanted to get a glimpse of the gulf before it completely enveloped the island. I did. Yahooo! So pretty, the sound of the waves are truly calming. Wish you all could be here!

Oh all right, I'll shut up!

Sadly, to get to a Starbucks is about 15 miles. I'm in need. LOL. In the pictures below you can see my temporary studio, formally known as the dining room table. You can also see, I packed pretty light! Uhhmmm!

 

Going for some staples and then I'll get started on the case.

Road Trip!

Just an update on both the watch case and the road trip...

For the case to stay closed while carrying it, I've added a latch at the top and four of die cuts from Tim Holtz Hardware Findings die. I enlarged the hole on the die cut to allow a hinge post to go through it. Then I measured an inch from each end and applied the die cuts with brads. See picture below. Now to make a handle...

Driving now from Goliad to Tivoli, Tx. Things are starting to look very flat. You can see off for miles.

Mini Traveling Watch Case

Ok, so obviously patience is needed while taking photos in the car on and angled back seat on a bumpy road! I just have to laugh! Really laugh! Oh yeah, did you know that you cross about 16 railroad tracks in La Grange, Texas. That's always a plus!

Car Crafting

Good Morning Everybody!

As I write this I'm on the way to Port Aransas, Texas to go to the beach. A short get-a-way to keep my mind off the Graphic 45 audition that will be announced tomorrow!

So, I'm in the back seat car crafting! Can I copyright that? Needless to say its not the best sport to play whilst brandishing craft knives and scissors but I am mainly sticking to picks and paper trimmers. LOL!

In my rush to try and get packed and ready to go last night, I didn't upload my pics from my camera to a dad blasted thing I can access and publish while traveling.

That said, we may have to go forward and then go back. Does that sound totally crazy? To me it sounds like I need a beach break! Haha!

So I think typepad has a way to email pics to my blog! We are going to find out. So hang in there. I'm blogging by phone, and we all know how good I am at that...NOT! This could get really ugly! LOL!
