What a wonderful Christmas I had with my family! It was so good to see everyone in the same room! After my Father's passing in December of 1995, Mom and I load up our stuff like the Beverly Hillbillies and head to Brownwood to my Sister's house to enjoy being with the all the kiddos!
Now, in this age of technology, where was the beeper that is supposed to go off that alarms you to grab the camera bag that you placed on the handle of the door so you wouldn't forget it? Can you tell me how incredibly impossible it is to literally struggle to open a door with a bag attached to it and simply overlook that to get out the door? Is this called Christmas overload? Who knows! It's as though I wasn't supposed to take pictures! On Christmas morning when the kids were screaming (at the top of their lungs!) behind closed doors waiting to see what Santa had left them, I grabbed my phone to get these once in a lifetime photos as the emerge. Yep, phone was dead! I then hastily made a mad dash...No, it was a pure all out run to grab my next option...My Ipad. Unfortunately, the lighting wasn't bright enough but I did capture some grainy shots. Oh well, next year I will place the camera bag in my car! What a concept! Bag In Car! Ok, got it!
Here are some of those very pictures!
Happy Holiday Y'all!
